About Course
The Mentor’s Eye is a self-paced, asynchronous mentor coaching education program for experienced coaches, mentors, and practicing mentor coaches who support coach development. It is designed to help you see coaching more clearly, name what happened more precisely, and offer feedback that develops the coach while honoring their voice, culture, presence, and style.
Aligned with the ICF Mentor Coaching Competencies and designed to support Mentor Coach Specialization readiness, the program focuses on ethical practice, role clarity, mentor coaching agreements, formative appraisal, evidence-based developmental feedback, coach skill development over time, and group mentor coaching.
You’ll move through a scenario-based learning experience built from written lessons, coaching transcripts, calibration labs, reflection prompts, feedback-writing practice, Mentor Mirror AI-supported feedback, required artifacts, and a final calibration check. Throughout, you’ll practice identifying observable coaching evidence, naming client impact, distinguishing developmental feedback from evaluation, and supporting coach growth in alignment with ICF standards.
This is an ICF-Accredited Continuing Coach Education (CCE) program, listed in the ICF Education Search Service, providing 10 Core Competency Education hours. It does not replace any separate ICF evaluation training or additional requirements a participant may need for credentialing or specialization.
